HCAPHS, How to develop ES dashboards, OR disinfection guidelines, hand hygiene, floor care, Integrated Waste Management, sustainability, HCAHPS Best Practices, Hiring for Engagement, etc.

AHE Updates

New requirements that 20% of state chapter membership must be AHE members.

Chapter leadership must be AHE members.

Preferred that 20% of chapter members attain CHESP certification status.

OAHE is one of largest, most active chapters in the last 4 years.

Opportunities to serve on AHE Educational Committee for the 2013 AHE National Conference to be held in Indianapolis from September 15 – 18.

OAHE is being utilized as a “resource chapter” by the national office.

AHE is forming “Chapter Advisory Council” in 2013. We have been asked to be a part of that council.

join national AHE. Possible affiliation with Ohio Hospital Association. Expanded mailings to health care institutions across
