• 5 module description types for single

layers (one HBU), big layers (2x2

HBUs) and 3 different EBUs (2 of

transverse type and 1 parallel)

• 5 module connection types: allows

flexibility for layer re-ordering

• New database structure

(Ahc2HardwareConnection) to ease

module configuration setting

Summary for software tools

• Framework exists, works well

• Database official folder setup, new updates make reconstruction work easier

• Geometry description/mapping flexible, extendable to other plans in future

(different module descriptions, different configuration…)

• Calibration constant sets exist

• Some with default values

• Further sets needed:

- Noisy/dead channel map

- HG/LG or Calib/Physics mode intercalibration

• CaliceSoft updated with new packages (name tag Ahc2 for technological

prototype): Calibration, simulation.

Outlook & Conclusion

• Framework exists, works fine

• All converge to Marlin (try to not keep standalone tools)

• Basic calibration constant sets exist, still some to be done in particular timing

calibration

• Help from other institutes are very welcomed!

• Easily adapted to other plans in future (more layers, different module

descriptions, tungsten absorber…)

• Clear documentation (Wiki page & Doxygen) for users

• Always room for improvement

• Need feedback from users

• 2015 data are there and wait for analysis at other institutes!
