A. The Government of India has received a credit from the International Development Association /Loan fromthe International Bank for Reconstruction & Development towards the cost of West Bengal AcceleratedDevelopment of Minor Irrigation Project (WBADMIP)and intends to apply a part of the funds to cover eligiblepayments under the contracts for construction of works as detailed below. Bidding is open to all biddersfrom eligible source countries as defmed in the IBRD Guidelines for Procurement. Bidders from Indiashould, however, be registered with the Government of West Bengal or other StateGovernments/Government of India, or State/Central Government Undertaking.

B. The Executive Engineer, DPMU, Jalpaiguri invites item rate bids in electronic tendering system for and onbehalf of The District Project Director & Project Director, WB_ADMIP. Details of name work, estimated costetc. are given para-2 below table.

EMD/Bid securityshall be collected as online NEFT /RTGS Method. Payment will be made Subject to availability of fund.Before Participating E-Tender intending bidder required to visit site with their Engineer to access Geo-PhysicalCharacteristic of soil layer & to learn about the Lithography of Layer & availability of water, site conditionavailability of approach road for moving machine to pin point, availability of water, to execute works, availability ofvacant field, etc. at his own cost & no plea in this regard will be entertained from the awarded bidder.
