THE QUESTION OFFOLLOW-UP
The question of follow-up keeps popping up on my mind whenever wedo outreaches. This is because I understand the importance of makinga swift follow-up on the people who get saved in the outreaches. Infact the subject is triggered by seeing a lot of people receiving Christ inour outreaches, and I then get worried if follow-up will be made or notby the local churches.
As an organisation, we have worked with different churches aroundSwaziland that think that if they work with Every Home for Christ theirchurches will be full in a short time, and that didn’t happen. The peoplewere getting saved in numbers as we worked together, but they thenrelaxed too- much and never did any follow-up on the new believers.
So let me say this to you right now; if you are not prepared to befollowing a cow that you recently bought, it would definitely get lostand you might find it right where you bought it. We always encourageleaders to do a follow-up on the new believers within 48 hours after theyreceived Christ. A follow up is critical for the growth of your church. Itdoesn’t matter that the people are getting saved in numbers, becausethey might go back to their sins in numbers as well.
The question of follow-up says, “do you make a follow-up on each andevery person who gets saved in your revivals, film shows, or in youroutreaches?” If you don’t, so why do you expect your church to grow innumber? It’s not about the big numbers of people getting saved, Irepeat, but it is the care and love that you give them after they receiveChrist. You need to register them as soon as they accept Christ andtake their contacts and other particulars. Then contact them and tellthem that you and the church love them and would love to meet themin church the next service.
Congratulate them for making this wonderful decision and that you, yourself, took the same decision in the same way that they did. Youshould know some important detail like their residential addresses sothat you can go fetch them if you don’t see them in church. A follow-upis what matters. Please, enjoy this October 2017 issue, and be blessed inJesus name.

TENT CRUSADE IN MBABANE200 RECEIVE CHRIST
PASTOR CASPER DLAM(Prayer for Harvest Coordinator)
Right inside the capital ofSwaziland, Mbabane, wepitched a tent for revivals thatlasted for two weeks. We hadtargeted the people who live inthe city and the surroundingoutskirts.
At least we had an averagedaily turnout of about twohundred and fifty (250) people.Although many appeared to beregular attendees, but newfaces appeared each andevery day, thus taking theturnout up to more than fivehundred (500+) people for thewhole event.
The EHC team had joined forceswith a South African evangelismteam known as the Imvuselelo
and shared in responsibilitiesand available resources for thework of God to be a success.
A remarkable effort from theEHC team went into organizingand running promotions of therevivals, which was indeed oneof the reasons for the revivals totake place. And among manyother provisions by theImvuselelo Team, the leaderEvangelist T. C. Meyiwa broughtwith him well known andpowerful South African speakersfor the revivals. We also hadother powerful speakers fromSwaziland as well.
The list of speakers involved DR.Gumbi (RSA), DR. Hleta(Swaziland), Pastor Mvinjelwa
(RSA), Pastor Mbhele (RSA),Pastor Zuma (RSA), PastorDlamini (Swaziland), PastorMeyiwa (RSA) and Pastor Gule(Swaziland). The ImvuseleloTeam also sponsored the wholeevent, covering almost the totalexpenditure.
All the Men of God were used ofGod in a mighty way throughoutthe revivals since people weregetting saved everyday. Atleast the total number of newbelievers who were added intothe kingdom of Godaccumulated to a whopping200. And over seven churchesthat work with EHC in Mbabanewere responsible with collectingthe harvest.
Before the revivals started, we were endlessly and fervently praying for thelost to attend, because our hearts would be fulfilled only when peoplereceived Christ, and at least 200 did.

The last week of the revivals was heldat Sandla Assemblies of God, achurch under a popular and wellrespected man of God, Dr. OsbornHleta, and the revivals duration wasextended to three weeks. We tooktwo weeks at the tent and one weekat this wonderful building of theAssemblies of God.
The well known and a favourite tomany believers in Swaziland, Dr. S.D.Gumbi from South Africa, preachedduring this last week. Many peoplesee him on televisions and listen to hissermons on radio, so people came in
numbers just to see and hear himpreaching live.
Though the senior man of Godcame for only a day, our veryown Evangelist Casper Dlaminiand Apostle Joseph Guleproceeded with the sharing ofthe Word on the other days.
Rendering of music and poems fromdifferent gospel groups left all believersrevived. People were getting savedand the demon possessed and thesick were prayed for and weredelivered in Jesus mighty name.

rior to the start of the revivals at
Sandla Assemblies of God, as
our custom, we had to reach out
to the people who reside there, at Sandla.
The way to do this was to distribute tracts
to the community folks that we met on
the streets and the ones that we found at
their homes.
The EHC team was determined and
committed, as usual, to get almost all the
people on the streets reading about Christ.
We were joined by at least two members
of the church in the distribution and
sharing of the gospel around the area. We
were obviously mandated to also inform
the people about the revivals that would
last for the whole week.
Two of us were using mobile horn
speakers mounted on a car to mobilize the
whole community for the revivals and as
well as preaching the word of God as they
drove around the area. Besides the
mobile speaker mobilization, the strategy
was very simple; we just went to the
bus-stops and to the nearby college known
as Swaziland College of Technology
(SCOT). These were the busiest places in
this area. We gave the tracts to people who
were waiting for buses to town and we
gave to the students at the college.
We had wonderful time with many
people who had questions about the
Christian faith. They wanted to know
about different things; others about
heaven, others about the second coming
of Jesus, others about the conduct of
believers, and many other things.
The Lord helped us to provide helpful
information to all the people after
engaging them to say out their thought
about the questions that they asked. Some
where giving some fine answers to the
questions, but some were giving us very
funny answers.
We were amazed to see a large group of
students from SCOT coming to us for
more clarity about Christ and as well as
the revivals. At least we were able to reach
more than 150 people and we distributed
more than 200 tracts.

God With Us is one the churches that has beenworking with Every Home for years now, and it hasalways been consistent in home to homeoutreach. The home to home has always been itsprincipal strategy for growth, and it has beengrowing bigger and bigger over the years.
The senior pastor of the church, Apostle M.Hlophe, said that the word of God is always a
motivation for him not to forget the greatcommission. He added that he will make surethat their evangelism is funded so that theneedy people are could be assisted is someway. He mentioned that if they do not go allout to the lost, the Jehovah’s Witnesses will.He said that his church has started a fundfor the needy which will be utilised in thehome to home evangelism. HOME TO HOME OUTREACH AS CURTAIN-RAISER TO TENT REVIVALS AT LUDZELUDZESince most pastors see the home to
home outreach as an excellent curtain
raiser for any event that they want to
host, we therefore went to Ludzeludze
to carry out this divine mandate. We
never wanted to take this exercise as
simply a curtain raiser or anything
else, but we knew that the home to
home outreach is the most reliable and
effective way of evangelism. They
might do it as some curtain raiser, but
we went to do it as the great
commission of our Lord.
Thus, the Mountain of the Lord Church
had engaged our outreach training
services to get its members out to the
field ahead of their tent revivals. The
senior pastor of the church, Mrs.
Mpanza, said that the outreach will not
only win souls, but will also spread the
news about the tent revivals that they
would have soon. It was evident that
Mpanza had mobilised his church,
because we managed to train THIRTY
members on home to home outreach.
We stayed with the church for THREE
days, and at least FORTY NINE
homes were reached with the gospel,
SEVEN people accepted Christ and
over ONE HUNDRED AND TWENY
tracts were distributed. So exciting was
that among the SEVEN people who
got saved, there was a Moneni Pirates
player and a celebrity known as
Zombodze Dlamini. Moneni Pirates is
one of the strongest teams in the
Premiere League of Swaziland and
Zombodze is one of the key players of
the club.
When speaking to us, Zombodze said
that most believers do not like sharing
about Christ with popular people like
them as soccer players. He mentioned
that he thank God who brought us his
way and that he has finally accepted
the Lord..

AS THE CHURCH REACHES OUT TO THE LOSTNhlangano Alliance is one of the bigchurches led by Reverend Patrick Dlaminiwho is recognized in the whole country ofSwaziland. The EHC team was invited totrain and equip the members on effectiveoutreach. As our custom, we never go outwithout a briefing lest people will comeback with good results. No matter that wehad a very short time in our briefing withthe Alliance believers, we noticed thatalmost all of them already had knowledgeabout home to home outreach. So, wegrouped ourselves and moved out.
The collective effort by the groups saw usreaching 300 homes, and at least 26people received Christ. We distributed awhopping number of 1500 gospel tractsstraight into the hands of the communitypeople here. And since we had a filmshow in the evening, we were inviting thepeople to the film show as well. I, PastorDavid Kunene, was also responsible for
driving around mobilising the people onhorn speakers to come to the film showwhich was a great boost to thereasonable turnout that we had in theevening.
At the film show, we had more thatSEVENTY people who came to watch thefilm, “Izono Zakho Ziyawukufumana”.And at least a walloping number ofFORTY FIVE accepted Jesus Christ astheir Lord and Saviour. The church hadarranged a brief counselling class for thenew believers. Adding the numbers of thenew converts from the home to homeoutreach together with the film show, theytotal up to a walloping SEVENTY ONEpeople who got saved.
There was one man who stays
right next to the church building
who indicated that he has never
attended church since he was
born. He revealed this after we
shared to him about Christ and
made him see the need of
accepting Him into his life. This
man stated that he can feel that
the Lord Jesus is needed in his
life. He said that there was a gap
that he can’t fill with anything
and it is now clear that the only
thing that could help him is
accepting Christ. It was a great
experience to see that man
giving his life to Jesus and
promised to be part of the
Alliance Church. We prayed
with this man and encouraged
him to attend church more often.
To God be the glory.
