As the region’s source for modern and contemporary art, the Ulrich Museum of Art connects viewers with artists and artworks that reflect our world today. Visitors explore and enjoy 20th- and 21st-century art that often newly considers established artistic traditions and develops fresh creative paradigms.

In addition to the campus sculpture, the Ulrich houses a distinguished collection of over 6,300 works by such artists as Childe Hassam, Robert Henri, Robert Motherwell, Jacob Lawrence, Joan Mitchell, W. Eugene Smith, Gordon Parks, Zhang Huan, and Dana Schutz.

Beyond the galleries, the Ulrich regularly presents dynamic public programs, generally at no cost. Artist talks, films, performances, family activities, lively opening parties–the kinds of events and schedule of gatherings is always fascinating. Opening eyes and minds and offering moments of visual pleasure through encounters with the art of our time–that is what’s up at the Ulrich.
