Robson’s calling around to try to keep Jim to stay. Jim has accepted to consider an option to leave. Some ex-councillors are also trying to change his mind for their own vested interest. Brian is also trying to make sure there will be no quarm. It is (UNINTELLIGABLE) – important we do not waver under pressure’.

Hi Mark I need your support to ensure that I and the following councils continue to do our work in the new Canterbury Bankstown Council’.

‘I want to continue promoting the Liberal Party and the greater community with the new council. I have submitted my expression of interest to be part of the transition team. I’m also supporting some Labor councillors who I have a big (UNINTELLIGABLE) influence on to help me achieve my objects and ensure that we maintain the numbers in the new council. Michael Hawatt, Vaselidies, Ken Nam, Pierre Azzi, Mark Adler, Fadwa Kebbe and Karl Saleh. Please note that all of the above have supported council reform and council amalgamations. I also wish to seek your support to give the role of administrator to our current general manager Jim Montague who wishes to retire after his work is

completed to ensure the success of the transition in this historic time to amalgamate two councils is completed. He is willing retire and take up appointment administrator or continue as is wiyh the new role. Your support in ensuring this happens will never be forgotten and always appreciated’.
