Mr. Dilip B. Desai is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, a National Scholar and a Gold Medallist. With 3 decades
of focused exposure, he is well known for his competence & innovation in the field of taxation - direct as well as
Indirect and Corporate Advisory Services including M&A.
After a short stint with a „Big4‟ firm, he founded D. B. Desai & Co. (DBDC) to develop an organization which

Mr. Shailesh V. Haribhakti is an inspiring thought leader who defines Baker Tilly „s future. Over decades of
hands-on professional involvement, he has worked through myriad engagements which have defined the future at
Baker Tilly.
His passion for quality is reflected in the ISO 9000 certification for various processes of the Group‟s operations.
He represented India on the Standards Advisory Council (SAC) of the International Accounting Standards Board
(IASB). He worked with PBAS, an affiliate of IFC Washington, to establish activity based costing and strategic
planning processes in Polish SMEs.
Mr. S. V. Haribhakti is a staunch believer in corporate social responsibility, governance and promoting a greener
environment. He actively promotes these causes through forums like ASSOCHAM, CII and the Indian Merchants‟

Mr. V. B. Haribhakti has been the guiding light for Baker Tilly through its six decades of operations. His professional

Mr. V. B. Haribhakti is a prominent and respected figure in the trade and industrial circles in India. The Government of
India had appointed him as an Independent Director in public sector enterprises and as a member of the Sales Tax
Enquiry Committee. He continues to render guidance to many large limited companies as an Independent Director.
Mr. V. B. Haribhakti was the Deputy Leader of the Indian delegation to the IX International Congress of Accountants held
in Paris where he submitted a paper on “Accountant‟s Role in the Evaluation of Capital Investments”. He is the author of
“Taxation of Non-Residents in India”.
As recognition for his outstanding achievements, he was awarded the International Man of the
Year 2000-01 by the International Centre, Cambridge, England.
