• Pesso originally founded New Studio in 1989 as a boutique industrial design consulting firm specializing in product design and development, architectural millwork, exhibit design, and brand development.

• His primary focus is on providing original content for the contract furniture industry. He is committed to cultivating long-term strategic relationships with manufacturing partners in order to deliver best-in-class product solutions for the end-user, specifier, and manufacturer.

• The creative vision New Studio offers its clients is based on 25 years of education, experience and passion. Each product development initiative starts with a strategic focus on the client's brand objectives, market position, competitive landscape and product line compatibility.

• Pesso’s background, both academic and professional, has prepared him for the often formidable tollgates erected by manufacturing, focus groups, cost margins, and product life management.

• They are a full service design team that offers skills from concept drawings to 3D solids modeling as well as provides valuable input regarding strategic product planning, costing and sourcing.

• All DARRAN Casegoods and wood conference tables are BIFMA level 1 certified.

• Based on the ANSI / BIFMA e3 standard, level is a third-party verification program for evaluating the environmental and social impacts of furniture products based on criteria including materials, use of energy, atmospheric impacts, human and ecosystem health, and social responsibility.

• Taking into account a company's social actions, energy usage, material selection and human and ecosystem health impacts, level addresses how a product is sustainable from multiple perspectives.
