new customers, along with creating an excellent
opportunity for high impact marketing on the National
stage.

Our Proud Sponsor
Is Racing Right For Your Business? Traditionally, if you buy a print ad, you get a print ad. If you buy a billboard, you
get a billboard. If you buy a television spot, once again, that’s all you get. And,
you’ll pay handsomely for each one of them individually! If, on the other hand,
you sponsor a race team with marketing savvy, you’ll get all of the above plus
more: A custom-tailored marketing plan all for one price.
At ACT Motorsports, we understand that the opportunity to put your name on the
side of our cars, trailer and transport vehicle is not enough to get you excited
about partnering with us in your marketing efforts. We know that it’s about
growing your business and growing it with measurable results. We will take the
time to understand your business and your business objectives so that we can
develop a strategy that will yield the results you are looking for. Of course, your
company’s name on the cars, trailer, and transport vehicle are part of the plan,
but only a small part.
Why Sponsor ACT Motorsports?
Simply stated...because racecars draw attention! As you know, the primary function of spending advertising
dollars is to alert a share of the market that your products are available. In reaching the potential customer/
consumer, your objective, is to impact as many of them as possible in a way that is effective, colorful and
has a proven track record of yielding results and a strong return-on-investment. That, in a nutshell,
describes the impact of motorsports marketing.
With the advent of televised races and the ever increasing amounts of print coverage, the majority of the
nation’s largest advertisers are utilizing auto racing in one form or another to advertise their products or
services. It is important to realize that the sport of auto racing is no longer just a sport. Auto racing is
entertainment! Auto racing has grown from its grass roots beginnings into a multi-million dollar business.
MOTORSPORTS: THE PERFECT MARKETING PLATFORM FOR YOUR FUTURE!
Motorsports fans are dedicated and loyal. They consciously purchase the products
and services of the sponsors and businesses involved in motorsports.
Motorsports helps to deliver sales with maximum impact. Race teams offer a highly-
visible, exciting, and memorable advertising medium, and will enhance your
corporate image by conveying competitiveness, innovation and a winning attitude.
Motorsports creates a low dollar value per exposure ratio. When you factor in the
buying power and loyalty of the racing fans; motorsports is an advertising medium
that cannot be equaled.
Motorsports is a family oriented sport.
Motorsports has strong appeal to the all age demographics and is influential in
creating brand awareness.
“The sheet metal of a race car is one of the most valuable
properties in US marketing.”

hours in the confines of the racing facility while being

Motorsports Demographics
Growing Your Business The ACT Motorsports racing team is currently planning our 2012 NASCAR Camping World Series
campaign. We realize that it would not be possible without the help and support of our family, friends
and sponsors. As the ACT Motorsports team continues to grow, we become more able to provide
advertising, marketing, promotional, and public relations to our prospective sponsors. Our athlete will
be involved in several forms of racing this season including, the NASCAR Camping World Truck
Series, the CRA Super Series and various Late Model Racing Series.
As a marketing partner many options are available to customize a marketing campaign to suit your
organization’s needs. No matter what your budget, we can help you build a motorsports
marketing plan that will help your business grow. Here are a few of our ideas. Of course, we would
love to hear your ideas as well.
We Can: Customize a marketing plan that is right for your business!
Add your business to the “Friends of ACT Motorsports” directory that will be distributed at the track, promotional events
and charitable fundraising activities. This can include a listing of special offers/services, coupons, etc. We will be attending
various functions away from the track this year with our car. These include car shows, festivals and parades.
Make personal appearances at your events (Grand Openings, Customer Appreciation Days, New Product Launches, etc.)
with our racecar and driver. This car draws plenty of attention. Pictures of your customers/guests can be taken with the car
and driver.
Display your business information (name, colors, logos, etc) on the ACT Motorsports team transport vehicle. We will log
close to 10,000 miles between races with this trailer in 2012.
Display your company information (name, colors, logos, etc) on our racecars.
Display your business information (name, colors, logos, etc) on the ACT Motorsports team’s uniforms.
Provide appropriate recognition of your company on the ACT Motorsports team’s website at www.brentonthornton.com.
This can include banner ads, a link to your business website, printable special offer coupons, a list of your special events, etc.
Display your business flags, banners and/or hats in the pit area of the ACT Motorsports team at races, sponsor events and
other appropriate events.
Include information regarding the sponsorship participation of your business in press kits (containing up to date
information about the team and photographs) which are made readily available to the media and other appropriate parties
and to race facilities for publication in race programs and periodicals.
Provide you with photographs of the ACT Motorsports team and car for use in advertisements, etc.
Collect documentation, in the form of press clippings, photographs and stories pertaining to the team and your sponsorship
and present them to you throughout the racing season.
Gather information from our fans throughout the racing season and provide them to your company for use in email/mass
mail marketing. Fans are encouraged to join our fan club on our website and at all special events. They are given the option
to opt-in/out of receiving promotional materials from our marketing partners.
Provide regular email updates on how we’ve performed at the track through the ACT Motorsports newsletter.
Distribution of sponsor-provided print advertisements, flyers, posters, banners, team jerseys, jackets,
T-shirts, hats, stickers, magnets, product, cool cups, and any sponsor related paraphernalia.

Brief Biography
There are many who dream of becoming race car drivers, but only a few have the ambition and the
drive to make that dream a reality. Brenton Thornton is one of those people. His talent and
fearlessness have made him one of the most popular drivers in late model racing. The 2012 Season
will mark his debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He pushes his race cars to the
limit every time and there isn’t a race track in America that he can’t conquer. Thornton often jokes
that he was “born to race” and as soon as his foot touches the throttle, he makes people believe this to
be true.
When Brenton debuted in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series he will be one of four African
Americans to ever compete in the top NASCAR Series. He has created a lot of buzz on the track,
online, currently has a strong fan base and his fans are anxious to see him compete in NASCAR. His
