Participation grades

•In class we will look in depth at the states

through each region. Quizzes over states and

capitals with a complete 50 states and

capitals test at the end of the year.

•Students will pick a state (next week) and

have a choice each quarter to pick from two

projects.

•Systems and map skills as well

Each full week is a new Word Study (or Spelling)

list. Each student has a list that is the closest to

their ability.

Please practice sorting words.

Test on Friday is a sort test and a spelling test.

Word Study packet every week due by Friday

Math sheet every day from workbook.

Reading requires 10 minutes each night.

Two Grammar Worksheets each week.
