Welcome to 4th Grade! This is an important

year for you! I will give you an

introduction to 4th grade and to our classroom.

If you have any questions during my presentation, please raise your hand and wait to be called on.

About Me My Background

I grew up in California. Before I began teaching I had a career

as an actress. Then I got married and had two

children. My Experience

I’ve been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. 4th grade is the BEST!

My Family

I have two wonderful sons, Joseph and Daniel. They are 33 and 31 years old.

I have two brothers and one sister.

I have two terrific cat, Mister New Kitty who is 7 and ½ years old and Miss Copy Kat who is 1 year old.

Goals To give you the academic tools you

need to progress to 5th grade and pass the MSP

To have fun while we learn. To make new friends and discover

new interests.

ATTENDANCE Please be on time for school

Be at your desk having signed up for lunch and taken care of business by 7:50 AM.

School ends at 2:15 PM

SCHEDULE

7:50 Ready to go!

7:50 – 9:55 Work time (snack time 9:05)

9:55-10:35 Specialist (Library, Art, Music, PE)

10:35-10:55 SSR, Spelling, Catch up time

10:55-11:20 Lunch and Story Time

11:20-11:50 Recess

11:50-1:10 Project time and work time

1:10-1:25 Recess

1:25-2:15 Finish up, clean up----- So Long!
