Languages at Moreton

We currently offer French at KS3,4 as well as

KS5

and we are going to introduce Entry Level

Spanish and

German courses from next year.

Languages at MoretonThis year we have participated in various languages events

organised by the University of Wolverhampton.

* Japanese and Martial Arts Event in May

* Going Places with Languages in Europe in June

Languages at MoretonStudents from year 7,8,9,10,11 also went to see the the Oscar

winning French film ‘Amour’ (by Michael Henke, 2012) at the

Lighthouse Media Centre in Wolverhampton and have experienced

having to watch a film in French with subtitles in English.

this fantastic event organised by the

University of Wolverhampton and

have enjoyed listening to two foreign

speakers talking about the benefits of

learning languages as well as

designing their own product in French

and presenting it to other students.

Students have learned basic Japanese phrases and got an opportunity to write their

names in Japanese as well as learn some origami techniques.
