Moodlerooms Plugin Matrix Updated December,
2014
Moodlerooms Plugin Matrix is an analytic tool that identifies and describes plugins available to Moodlerooms’
clients. Plugins are separated based on the type of developer who maintains the plugin. There are four types of
developers listed below with links to the area of the plugin matrix.
Developer Type Description
Moodle Core These plugins are maintained by Moodle HQ and maintained as part of the Moodle core code.
Moodlerooms These plugins are maintained by Moodlerooms product or client development.
Community Moodle community members maintain these plugins individually or as part of an organization.
Vendor Vendors maintain these plugins to support clients who want their product to work with Moodle.
Each listing for a plugin includes the level of support Moodlerooms provides for it. A description of the support
level can be found at the end of the plugin matrix under the section Plugin Matrix Support Levels. Updates are
made to the Plugin Matrix 6 times a year, with each major release and maintenance pack. Plugin statuses could
change with a new release so checking the matrix at release times is recommended.
