CALCULATING YOUR FINAL GRADE

Your midterm: max. 100 points Your quiz plus your final: max. 100 points Your two papers: max. 2 x 50 points = max. 100

points All these points will be added up and divided by 3. To that number will be added your max. 4 extra credit

points, and penalties for excessive absences will be subtracted. The new number will be your preliminary final grade. If your grade is borderline, your class participation will determine your ultimate final grade.
