• Born in Torrance, California

• She has two older siblings Ron

Kwan and  Karen Kwan

• Michelle is the third child of Danny Kwan and Estella Kwan

• Her parents were chinese immigrants from Hong Kong

职业生涯• Kwan attended UCLA, transferred

to University of Denver in 2006

• 2009, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in international studies and a minor in political science

•  November 9, 2006 – she became a public diplomacy ambassador.

• December 2012, Kwan was the State Department's senior adviser for public diplomacy and public affairs

主要贡献• Kwan has won five World

Championships  (1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, and 2003) as a figure skater

• She has also been named USOC "Athlete of the Month" fourteen times

• Kwan is one of the "Readers' Choice Figure Skater of the Year"
