SCIENCE AND NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

Comprehensive Design Studio | Ed Richardson | Austin, TX

The project was a natural history and science museum to be located on a small strip of land adjacent to Austin’s Town Lake. I developed a scheme of outdoor and indoor exhibit pavilions a visitor would experience as they traveled down a path from the street to the lake.

Advanced Design Studio | Heather McKinney | Austin, TX

The project was to design a community recreation and health center for an underserved neighborhood in south east Austin. A U-shaped building contains spaces for play, education, and healthcare, while its protected courtyard contains ample space for community gatherings.

VETERAN’S PARK AND COMMUNITY GARDEN

Advanced Design Studio | Elizabeth Danze | Austin, TX

The exersise began as an exploration of health and wellness issues pertaining to veterans, their families, and their communities. The project was the development of a community space in downtown Austin to promote healing and dialogue, as well as a monument honoring those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

NAPA VALLEY RESORT

Overland Partners Architects | San Antonio, TX

This project involved the development of 99 acres of a large agricultural site in Napa Valley, California for a high end wine-themed resort. I was responsible for creating sustainability diagrams, running designs through schematic energy modeling software, renderings, and organizing client presentation booklets.

RURAL HEALTH CENTER

Global Brigades Health Design Competition | El Paraiso, Honduras

This group project was created for a rural community in Honduras. After a trip to the country and the creation of a detailed program list, we designed a health care center to serve over 40 communities. Our design was chosen by the community for realization over 15 other submissions, and was completed this year.
