With three podium finishes in downhill events during the

In the 500m, Oudenaarden finished 18th at the 2009

World Single Distance Championships and fourth at the

2008 Canadian championships.

national team since 1999. She has two Olympic gold

the 1500m, 16th in the 1000m and 20th in the 500m. She

finished top five in the World Cup standings for the

1000m and 1500m. Silver medal winner in 2006 for Team

earning two gold medals and one silver. She is a six-time

world champion and also has three world championship

silver medals. She also competed in the 2000 Summer

Olympics in softball.

Wotherspoon is headed to his fourth Winter Games in

Vancouver and is looking to add to the silver medal he

won at his debut Olympics in Nagano. He is the 500m

Finished 18th in the 2009 World Championships after

winning her first World Cup medal in parallel giant slalom

in 2008. Zakreski has secured a total of three top-10

World Cup finishes since 2007.

Legally blind, he only has slight peripheral vision, he will

become the first Canadian athlete to compete in the

Olympic and Paralympic Games.

giant slalom, in March 2009 and placed 11th at 2009

World Championships in the same event. Since the 2006
