INFORMATION ON PROFESSIONAL COURSES
• Professional Courses impart advance knowledge, expertise and skill in the given field.
• The successful completion of Professional Courses generally leads to Professional Certification and not degree. Professional Certification is demonstration of ability or knowledge as is required, generally by law, before being allowed to perform a task or job. Say for illustration, only those who possess certification of Chartered Accountant can act as Statutory Auditor under the Companies Act.
• The certification of these courses is generally awarded by Professional/Statutory bodies and not Universities.
• The Professional Courses have uniform curriculum across India. The global professional qualifications have uniform curriculum globally. The examination for the courses is conducted at national or global level as the case may be.
• Normally Professional Courses are conducted in Self-study mode unlike degree courses which are run by Universities / Colleges in classroom mode.
• Professional Courses expect advanced or expert knowledge from the students and hence difficulty level for passing the courses is very high. Under this scenario, test-preparation / coaching greatly enhances the probability on success.

Pathfinder Online Career Assessment Tool
Under our present education system a child has to choose his/her career at a very early age before he/she realizes his/her true potential. It hence becomes a challenge to identify and bring out a child’s potential and even larger issue is that such career decision by and large is irreversible.
Unfortunately most of the children make the career decision without the proper assessment of their potential but under the influence of parents wish, peer pressures or by following the heard! Many times the result is square peg in a round whole, The personal unhappiness and failure to achieve results that come from being a square peg in a round hole is not by any means new.
What we need is the objective assessment tools which help students to discover and develop their true potential and help them choose a career path of their interest.
With the above objective in mind, we at knowledge Academy have launched, the Pathfinder Tool.
• A Computer based assessment of approximate 2 hours
There are 3 Sections:
• Section A: Ability Mapping
• Section B: Interest Mapping
• Section C: Personality Mapping
Each section will have Multiple Choice Questions
• There are no wrong or right answers, report is based on student responses.
No preparation is required to take the test.
Basic knowledge of Computers is required to take the test.
Pathfinder is recommended for all students of standard 9 onwards.
The Pathfinder test is developed by Eduquity Career Technologies (P) ltd. Knowledge Academy is Authorised Testing and Delivery Center of Eduquity Career Technologies (P) Ltd.

The exam period is a time when stress levels are higher than usual. It becomes a tough period for most of the households and the parents and the students all get into a typical stress. Stress can also be positive, helping you to stay motivated and focused. However, too much stress can be injurious to health. Stress can make you feel overwhelmed, confused, exhausted and edgy. Sometimes even parental pressure and lot of expectations from the child, lead to stress and tension. It is also important for the parents to try and keep things in perspective and find ways of reduce stress if things seem to be getting on top.
We suggest you some simple parenting tips that will help you in getting out of this damaging situation.
During Exams
The following suggests some important tips that you should follow during exams of your children to lower their stress levels.
• Parents should always try to maintain a very cheerful and loving atmosphere in your house.
• A child should always be helped and encouraged to plan a proper study time, breaks and sleep time.
• Always be helpful, concerned, calm and available to your child.
• Nutritious and light meal habits are always to be followed during exams so as to avoid any unwanted ailments.
• Child’s inactions and/or irresponsible behaviors should always be handled in a positive and constructive manner.
Do's Suggested for Parents to Reduce Exam Stress :
3242
• Enquire regarding any support needed and offer your time and expertise for the child to choose.
• Parents should enquire consistently whether the child is alright, in control or feels stressed or bored.
• A child should be relieved of chores in the household or taking up other work. Their focus has to be on studies.
• If the child admits to being stressed; you should remain calm, sympathize and encourage the child to decide on suitable plan of action to distress.
• Enquire about his/her friends in a non-interrogative friendly way during study breaks. Talk and share about other happenings in the news or in the family.
• Encourage and help the child to think about goals after the board exam; plan alternatives of colleges and courses he can study depending on his results such as Plan A, Plan B, Plan C etc. Make all of them sound equally acceptable to you in terms of the choice leading to a happy and successful life.
• Events and activities such as entertaining guests, having house guests, repairs and re-furnishing should always be postpond or managed carefully so that child’s living and study arrangements are least disrupted. Also postpone difficult conflicts for later if possible.
