Clayton’s Beach Bar and Grill has become the place to be on South Padre Island. It boasts the largest beach bar on the Texas Gulf Coast. Clayton’s is quickly gaining popularity among visitors and locals alike for their fantastic menu, drink specials and atmosphere.

Clayton’s has a fantastic set up with their beach front bar overlooking a beach volleyball court and of course the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. They have four great onsite hotels that make it easy for you to walk, or stumble, to and from the beach bar.

If you are not staying onsite, the best way to get there is to take a relaxing stroll up the beautiful white sand beach and you will find the biggest beach bar in Texas. Visiting Clayton’s Beach Bar and Grill is a MUST if you are vacationing or just on the island for dinner and drinks.

The Friends of Animal Rescue is a foster based

program that reunites lost pets with their owners. We

foster the lost animal up to 10 days prior to finding a

new home for the animal. All animals we adopt out

are neutered/spayed and up to date on shots. We also

assist residents and tourists in finding their lost pets.

Friends of Animal Rescue serve the community of

South Padre Island Texas. With an all-volunteer

Board and a small but hard working staff, we

provide care and love for animals every day, 365

days a year. Animals are sheltered, fed, cleaned,

medicated if ill, exercised, and otherwise comforted

by the staff and a growing number of volunteers.

The sole mission of FAR is to provide this care until

you come to pick up your lost pet or adopt your next

pet.

Is there room in your home for a friend? From time

to time Friends of Animal Rescue receives special

pets that need foster care until they are ready to meet

their new families and go home to stay. Maybe you

can provide a safe haven with the love and care

these pets need. Friends of Animal Rescue board

members, created

FARRS in 2011. Friends of Animal Rescue Resale

Shop sales proceeds benefit the animals in the care of

the Friends of Animal Rescue. Shop inventory comes

from the generous donations of local residents and

Friends of Animal Rescue supporters from all over the

world. We carry quality dog food, doggy clothing,

Frontline, and Heartguard. We’ll help you find that

item you’re searching for. Our friendly volunteers will

keep you smiling and turn your experience at Friends

of Animal Rescue Resale Shop into “shopping

therapy”. Our low prices and sale specials will help

you save money and “go green”, while benefiting a

good cause. Rescue Me Resale offers new and gently

used items. The Friends are also in the process of

establishing low cost spays/neuters and vaccination

clinics. There’s something for everyone at Friends of

Animal Rescue Resale Shop. Come in and see for

yourself. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11

a.m. to 4 p.m.
