After a year of implementation Science: It’s Elementary is already making a difference

• 95% of teachers indicated that SIE professional development (PD) increased their confidence in teaching science.

• Students who received instruction while using the SIE-provided module scored significantly higher on four of the six modules.

• Students of teachers who participated in all three days of SIE professional development scored even higher on the post-test than those of teachers who participated in only two days of professional development.
