Frame for inflateable structure was constructed with wire pieces attached to a ring. This wire defines a space for the user of the chamber to stand within. The purpose of the frame is to separate the user from the volume of the inflateable skin. This is nec-essary because the air flow required to inflate the skin would distract the user from the purpose of meditation.
Two trials were required to build a successful prototype of the frame. First a steel, circular ring was used. This material made it difficult to keep the wire arches in place. The second attempt used a wooden, non-circular ring and this was successful for ensuring the arches remained in the correct positions..
Prototyping the inflateable part of the design a material was identified that would not break apart when an airflow is applied.
A good way to panal was discovered using a series of folds to cut out the shapes for the inflateablke skin.
