We are a local charity that supports children, teenagers and young people living with cancer

by providing practical, financial, emotional and social support.

• In Northern Ireland we support….. – Children of all ages diagnosed with cancer – Brothers and sisters living with cancer every day– Parents of children with cancer

• We support every family member so they in turn can support each other

Nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mountains, Shimna Valley offers a tranquil setting for families to spend a relaxing holiday together.

• Often a holiday at Shimna Valley provides the first opportunity a family has had to be together as a family, away from hospitals, clinics and treatment regimes.

• Shimna Valley provides the ideal environment of a ‘home from home’ where the entire family can enjoy being a family again.

• In 2012 Shimna Valley will begin its redevelopment project - 16,000 sq ft state-of-the-art centre
