Deep Forest #2, Script: Page 3

Panel 1: DANNA and her friends sit under a tree in the school courtyard, eating lunch. TORI (standing, stretching): “It’s HUGE. Just this totally abandoned ware house! Don’t you wanna come?” KRIMRIM: “It’s sooo grim! We’re takin pictures!”

Panel 2: Closer in on DANNA eating, her friends partially visable. She looks somewhat apologetic. DANNA: “Homework, guys! Sorry. “ TORI: “What a friggin’ surprise.” KRIMRIM: “Aw, boooo”

Panel 3: Long quiet shot of the library, people reading at tables. Danna’s at the far right pulling out a book.

Panel 4: A bit over Danna’s shoulder as she examines the book, “Exotic Rituals of African Shamans,” by Col. Haverford Prescott. STUDENTS talk from off panel in carry-ing whispers. PEPPER: “Did you hear they found ANOTHER one? MEESHA: “Oohh I bet I know where, too…”

Panel 5: PEPPER and MEESHA putting their heads together at a table piled high with books. DANNA peaks around the bookshelf in the background. PEPPER: “Lord, this is getting super creepy. “ MEESHA: “It’s just a bunch of hobos don’t have the sense to find shelter now it’s getting, like, freezing at night.”

Panel 6: DANNA sits down at another table, putting on some headphones and opening her book. PEPPER (off panel): “But still…” MEESHA: “Did they leak pics yet? I heard those bodies look nasty, nasty…”
