Laura guttridge

Laura Guttridge graduated in Philosophy from University of Central Florida. The University of Central Florida is acknowledged for imparting quality education to students. Laura Guttridge was a brilliant student in the university who was always appreciated for her passion for philosophy.

Her work as a student is published in the University library. She is a kind hearted person who has been working for the welfare of animals since her young age. She is a lifetime animal activist and opposes people who are inhumane to animals.

Furthermore, she wants people to be aware about the vast suffering animals endure because of us, and what we can do to help change that.Laura Guttridge founded an organization to help protect animals from the cruelty. The name of the organization was Marion County Voices for Animals located in Ocala Florida, where Laura served as a president for several years.

MCVA was instrumental in convincing the Ocala animal shelter to stop using the outdated decompression chamber to kill unwanted animals, and switch to the more human lethal injection. She involved herself in anti-fur protest organized by San Diego Animal Advocates and was also an active participant in the protests carried out against hunting in the Ocala National Forest.

About Laura GuttridgeLaura Guttridge is a former successful swimsuit model and an author. She is highly educated with a graduation in Bachelor’s of Philosophy from The University of Central Florida.

She is also the author of the children’s book Gypsy The Christmas Cat which teaches children about trust, compassion and patience. The book is based on a real life cat called Gypsy. Children learn about giving out unconditional love, affection, kindness and a home to animals.

She has received many awards for protecting animals such as 2007 The Humanitarian of The Year Award from The Humane Society. She is on the Board of Directors of Animal Rights Foundation, Florida and she also established Marion County Voices for Animals.
