This course introduces students to the fundamentals of residen2al construc2on and remodeling. Students learn the basic concepts and skills needed to prepare for entry-‐level employment in the construc2on industry. This course includes instruc2on and prac2ce in the applica2on of basic math skills for construc2on and the safe use of construc2on power tools. Students are introduced to green building concepts, techniques, and materials as they relate to new code requirements and employment opportuni2es.
