• You are a representative of Kurdistan. You have been given two minutes to talk in front of representatives from Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran; you should explain to these representatives why you believe there should be a recognised state of Kurdistan and why it is important that you achieve autonomy in all regions.

• You should include geographical, historical, economic, social and cultural reasons for Kurdish separatism.

• The representatives will obviously be thinking about the acts of terrorism by the PKK in Turkey and so it may be a good idea to remind the representatives of some of the good things that have been happening in Iraq (see news article) http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/may/05/kurdistan-next-dubai-iraq .

• You will be peer assessed on your presentation. • You should be able to answer questions about your

presentation
