Seven Steps

Special Considerations around the

Caution.

28

Special Considerations around 21st

• There is an influential 21st Century champion risk-taker?

• There is a 21st C plan with a designated leader

• They use language such as:• Inquiry-based Learning, • Project Based –learning, • Creativity & innovation, • Critical thinking etc.

• There are technology initiatives (BYOD, flipped classroom, 1:1, etc.)

• Where is the funding coming from?

• All 21st century solutions have implementation challenges – not always and only around technology. Have these been considered?

• Has the purpose of the pilot been established?

• Is there sufficient training? Is there an opportunity to sell services?
