A 17-year-old Patchogue youthnarrowly escaped Injury lastThursday night ln Patchogue whenthe car on which he was fix-ing a Oat tire was struck fromthe rear by another vehicle.
Ronald Hochhelser of 29 Jen-nings Avenue, was taking the lugsfrom the left rear wheel of the
1961 vehicle about 9:18 p.m. As-sisting him was Bud Long ofAcademy Street, Patchogue.
Fifth Precinct Patrolman Nel-son Collins, Jr., said the driverof the second car, PatriciaSachse, 19, of 830 Doane Ave-nue, Bellport, told police thatshe was westbound on MaidenLane, saw young Hochhelser fix-ing the tire, attempted ta slowdown, and skidded about 9:18p.m. on the wet pavement intothe rear of the parked vehiclewhile it was raining.
Miss Sachse was treated lntheemergency ward of Brookhaven
Memorial Hospital for a bruisedhead and knee. Her passenger,Barbara Petoello, 19, of 18 Geo-rge Court, Bellport, escaped in-Jury ln the accident.
