MITIE (The Methodist institute for Technology Innovation and Education)

A research dedicated 1.5T Siemens scanner has been installed

Houston Methodist Hospital Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Laboratory will have complete access to this scanner

Interventional animal experiments will be performed in the MITIE center

GOAL: CMR guided procedures

Biopsy (for heart transplant and heart mass evaluation)

Pressure and pressure/volume RV evaluation in congenital cases

Vascular Interventions (endographgs, stents, …)

Trans-catheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedures

Prostate procedures
