Stiff-Brush Technology
• new brush sections to be fitted on 1” chain and stronger structure of the brush frame was developed
Supporting bars added to the conveyor belt. Standard brush section on the left.
Hydraulic motors moved to the lower end. New brush core for stronger chain on the right.

Skimmer Carriage
• the skimmer carriage is fitted on both sides of the OSH in the trimaran hulls
Both skimming systems; brush conveyor for heavy oils and Weir type skimmer for light oils attached to the skimmer carriage

Recovered oil pumping
• the brush conveyor belt is able recover extremely high viscous oils, emulsions and tar balls (> 2 mill cSt).
• Lamor PDAS (Positive Displacement Archimedes Screw type) pumps include many design features to enhance performance with extremely high viscosity oil.
• pumping of the recovered oil is part of the work package 4

Recovered oil pumping
• The annular water injection is an essential property to enable the highest viscosity oil pumping.
Water injection facts:
• outlet 4% of total flow, 12 bar
Can be cold or hot water
• inlet 4 % of total flow, warm
water 80 to 100 ºC, 3 bar
