Instructions for entering Time Sheets and Checking Leave Balances

Sign into My RU

Select Employees folder

Under Employee Tools click on Banner SSB Employee Menu

Click on Time Sheet

SUPERVISORS: To approve employees timesheets click on Approve or Acknowledge Time and then click on Select

Select the correct pay period in the drop down area and then click on Time Sheet

Click on Hours of the day beside the code that you want to enter hours

Once you click on Hours you will then will see a box appear to enter the number of hours. Once you enter the hours you will click the Save button. You will do this for each work day.

Copy Feature: To use the copy feature click on the first week day of the pay period as in the previous slide, then add 8 hours. Once you enter 8 hours click on the Copy button. Once on the page displayed below click the option Copy from date displayed to end of the pay period. Then click the Copy button, this will copy hours for the entire pay period. Click back on Time Sheet to get back to the timesheet page.

You will then see the hours across the time sheet once you copy them. After you hours are entered and your time sheet is complete you will click on the Submit for Approval button.

If you need to recall your timesheet for a correction click on the Return Time button. This will bring the timesheet back to you for correction, then you will need to submit for approval again. This option is only available for a short time frame.There is also a Comments option to leave comments on your timesheet.

Leave Balances: Under Employee Tools click on Leave Balances

Click on Leave Balances.

On this page you will see all of your leave taken, leave earned and available balance as of 1/10 of the current year.
