Institutional Distinctiveness
The vision and mission of the College includes aims to provide knowledge of the highest standard and
achieve excellence. To foster the spirit of love, compassion, universal brotherhood and patriotism through
the ideal of tolerance of diversities within the society and thus fulfill the institution’s motto. To facilitate
holistic development of the younger generation, which includes physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing
moral values are taught and practiced in the College campus. The students get requisite lessons that keep
their minds ignited for seeking knowledge and are motivated to do well in every sphere of their life. One
distinctive practice of the College is the daily morning assembly which is taken up for 5 minutes before the
classes commence by the respective mentors and in the respective departments.. It is an effective
mechanism for maintaining discipline, nurturing leadership abilities, exposing hidden talents of the
students and punctuality. School of Pharmacy and School of Management, GNITC envision the journey of
the institute towards the development of technical excellence among the students to make them globally
competent graduates. Institute provides conducive environment to facilitate the educational and technical
excellence among students and provide environment inculcate the human and professional values. The
Institute continues to introduce new methodologies and enable the use of ICT in all walks of the institution.
Modes, methods, concepts and contents of classroom behavior is changing, which made the teachers to
adapt the novel tools of teaching methodology involving computer assisted learning tools. Web and mobile
based application for practice test of GPAT/GATE/CAT/GMAT and other competitive examinations. This
will make the students to prepare for examination effectively making most of the use of time. Experiment
and research methodologies involving the use of sophisticated instrument and software help to cope up
with technical advancement in the industry and gain the excellence amongst students.
The institution is keen to bring about changes in the current market trend in
the engineering education, as the receptivity is not quite encouraging, we have the objective of bringing the
current twelfth standard school out goers to instill the scope for engineering courses, to elaborate the
engineering specialization to the aspiring young minds, to conduct the orientation program to discuss with
industry experts. These objectives are achieved through programs like Diploma to Degree (D2D), School to
Degree (S2D) orientation program, Let’s Make Engineering Simple (LMES) orientation, and training
program. One major challenging issue in the current education scenario is the slowdown in the engineering
admission in general. The advances in the particular fields of science and technology are growing and
talented graduates are lacking in the job market. The need for the hour is the engineering graduates with a
mix of strong technical and professional skills to face new age requirements. The program emphasizes on
the congregation of school out goers to take-up their career in the engineering and technology stream. The
potential engineers are given an eye-opener program to interact with the industry stalwarts and the
expertise education counselors to give the orientation about the engineering and technology-related jobs,
advance studies and research opportunities for the engineering aspirants in the national and international
perspective.

same time capable of bagging a job with a package upto 30+ Lacs. Training programs of higher thinking
order, at par with industry requirements, are conducted at the various COE in various aspects of
engineering, pharmacy and management.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell
GNITC is having an Entrepreneurship development cell (EDC/Ecell) known as EDC Mavericks for last 10
years.. The sole purpose of an Ecell is to create awareness on innovation and entrepreneurship among
young minds and encourage Start-up. It also aims to inspire and nurture new generation by providing a
platform for entrepreneurial creativity. Ecell at Guru Nanak institutions has seen various successful Start-
