INSTALLATION PROCEDURE (1/6)

1. Download the « Capture_Update_3.X.cap » file on the

website.

2. Copy the « Capture_Update_3.X.cap » file on the root

of a USB disk.

3. On GEKKO or MANTIS, press to access to the

general settings.

Note: This process shall be done with the equipment

connected to the AC Power supply.

4. Press on “Upgrade”.

5. The name of the release 3.X. appears. Press on

“Upgrade”.

5. Repository update.

If you press ”Yes”, you will update all the libraries (specimens,

probes, and scanner) and the applications. This procedure

will not erase the existing user files. Only the files installed

within our repository and with the same name will be replaced.

If you press “No” the libraries will not be updated.If you need

later to update the libraries, download

“Capture_Repository_Update_3.X.cap” and install them as

specified in INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1/6

Note: If you want to remove some or all libraries, you can delete

all the folders and install the new repository.

7. Wait the reboot of your device

PC CONFIGURATION NEEDS

- Operating system: Windows 7 /Windows 8/ Windows 10

- Archive management tool (7z, WinRAR, WinZip...)

1. Download the « Capture_PC_3.x.exe » file and extract the contents (folder location

free).

Extracting operation generates the « Capture_PC_3.x » folder.

2. Windows UAC configuration

Better to have the Admin rights at any time to use the CAPTURE PC software.

For this reason, you need to configure the windows UAC at the

minimum level (see next page)

2. Windows UAC configuration

- Go to user account then Modify the user account parameters in

the Control panel

- Set the scale button to its minimum level as shown on the right

picture

Once all steps are done, restart your PC

Once PC restarted, connect the dongle on your computer.

Execute the « Go_Capture.bat » file located in the «

Capture_PC_3.x » folder.

If your PC is Windows 8 operated, you need to « execute as

Admin » after right-click on the Go_Capture file.

- The CAPTURE Home page should appear as shown on the

right picture

You don’t need a dongle to launch the Capture Viewer

1. Upload and extraction of the file.

• Copy the file “Capture_Viewer_3.X.exe” on your computer.

• Double-click on the file.

• Select the saving location then extract.

2. Launch the viewer

• To launch the software, open the file

“Capture_Viewer_3.X.exe” and double-click on

“Go_Capture_Viewer.bat”.

2. Launch the viewer

• The CAPTURE viewer Home page is displayed.

LOAD YOUR FILE (2/2)

3. Import your file

• Click on the import button to import inspection files

from the computer or an external drive.

• Select the inspection file from the Home panel then press

Start to begin the analysis.

START THE ANALYSE

4. Open the inspection file and start the analyse

• The viewer software offers basic analysis tools.

• Please refer to the document GEKKO_New features_US-A

and to the GEKKO user manual for further information

about the analysis tools.
