The old protocol include insemination of the mare every 24- 48 h
beginning on the third day of estrus and continuing until she goes
out of estrus
Insemination of the mare with one dose of semen per cycle. The
second include insemination of the mare with two doses before and
after ovulation.
To control the time of ovulation by application of as ovulatory agent
in conjunction with the examinations to reduce the number of
reproductive examinations.
