The joy of Giving

The problem that we are attempting to change.

Children of Ashray Akruthi came to our school on 7th July 2010 on the occasion of Our Founder’s Day. The group consisted of hearing impaired – deaf and dumb children. We conducted games for them and they had lunch with us that day. After interacting with them and spending sometime with them we the students of Jain Heritage A Cambridge School felt that we could do something that could bring a smile on their faces. We along with them wanted to break the wall of silence. We decided to lend a hand to bring joy in their lives.

·       Firstly to interact with the children and planned to welcome them by tying friendship bands and to convey to them that we are there to Share and Care.

The Joy of giving week has changed the perspective of our children. They felt sorry for the disabled children and realized how fortunate they are and decided to do whatever they can in near future also. They have turned more mature and in this process experienced the joy in doing something for someone. This will continue for ever………..
