In the Horn and East Africa 12.4 million people face famine. They need our help and prayers.

Many have left conflict ridden Somalia, trekking 22 days to Kenya’s Dadaab Camp

Complex.

An ACT Alliance worker marks out plot boundaries for new refugee families. ACT runs the Dadaab

camp complex. New extensions to the camp are being made to provide shelter for thousands more.

A Somali mother and her children make their way to the new camp extension. They are

reliant on relief assistance to survive.

Some 1500 refugees arrive at the Dadaab Camp Complex each day. 82,631 have registered in

the last 2 months.

family with much needed food and

household supplies. They are likely to be

there for many months, dependent on ACT

Alliance and others for their daily needs.

food costs and conflict in Somalia.
