Iguanas in the RainforestTom

IntroductionThe rainforest is very important because it has medicine and it gives us some foods like oranges, vanilla, and chocolate. I like the rainforest. There are four layers in the rainforest. They can be found in Asia, South America, Central America, Africa and the Pacific Islands.

Forest Floor and Understory

The forest floor is filled with all types of animals. The understory has a lot of animals such as birds and jaguars.

Canopy and Emergent LayerThe

canopy is home of birds and much more. The emergent layer is the highest point in the rainforest.

AppearanceIguanas are pretty big animals. They are usually green. They also have dark colored bands on their bodies. Some of them even have pretty pattered skin.
