Activities included plenary sessions, topic discussions, ASTHO fellowship recipients meeting, workgroup meetings and state success story projects.

Workgroups: content, program management & outreach, standards & network development and geospatial.

Content workgroup topics: hospitalization, biomonitoring, water, climate change, pesticides, and vital statistics.

Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention in Ada County, ID: April-May 2012:

Use US Census Bureau, Ada County Tax Assessor data and GIS technology to create a lead risk map.

Share this information with Medicaid and Health Districts so they can implement more targeted lead poisoning prevention and education programs.
