Course Objectives

To allow students to understand the interdependence between the structure and function of the main body systems and to understand the causes and consequences of their malfunctioning.

to language precision and presentation

Participation and Classroom Presence:

A (%) of the term average will be allocated to

participation and classroom presence. This

will include, but is not limited to, class work

and seriousness, participating in class

discussions, completing assignments, daily

preparation, bringing material to class,

punctuality, respecting class rules.

What is Expected from a Grade 8

Student?

To establish consistent and appropriate study skill habits

To improve skills such as reading and interpreting scientific texts (text, graphs, tables…)

Drawing and analyzing diagrams and graphs.

To follow up regularly the course on Moodle (notes, worksheets, announcements, multimedia…)

To bring all needed materials and assignments to class on time

To do independently the assignments and avoid copying assignments from friends

To follow IC handbook policy in case of absences
