WATBANPONG SAMAKKEEKHUNUPATHAM SCHOOL RATCHABURI PROVINCE FOR THIRD AND FOURTH

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the school based curriculum of Watbanpong Samakkeekhunupatham School,
Ratchaburi Province, in the third and fourth grade levels, using the CIPP Model evaluating in five dimensions: context, input ,
process, output and impact. The sample comprised of 6 administrators, 8 school committee members, 40 teachers, 278 students,
and 278 students’ guardians with a total of 610 samples. The research instruments include d questionnaires, interview form, focus
group discussion items, and document auditing form, The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and
content analysis.
The results of this study were as follows:
1. Regarding the evaluation of school context, there was a high level of appropriateness. When considering each of the
following aspects: included the policy of Ratchaburi primary educational service area office 2, school policy and school
environment, the study found that the opinions among administrators, school’s committees, and teachers were at a high agreement
level and the students’ guardians were at a moderate agreement level.
2. Regarding the evaluation of school input, there was a high agreement level of appropriateness. When considering
each of the following aspects: included mission, goals, aims of school curriculum, curriculum structure, subject content, learner’s
activities development, knowledge and skills of administrators and teachers, materials readiness, building and location readi ness,
and community participation, the study found that the opinions among administrators, schools committe es and teachers were at a
high agreement level and the students’ guardians were at a moderate agreement level.
3. Regarding the evaluation of school process, there was a high agreement level of appropriateness. When considering
each of the following aspects: the curriculum preparation, curriculum implementation, curriculum supervision, curriculum
improvement and development, and measurement and evaluation of learning, the study found that the opinions among
administrators, schools committees and teachers were at a high agreement level and the students’ guardians were at a moderate
agreement level.
4. Regarding the evaluation of school output, there was a high agreement level of appropriateness. the study found that
the opinions of school administrators were at a high agreement level. Schools committees should focus the improvement of
student learning outcomes and the study for higher education of students.
5. Regarding the evaluation of school impact, there was a high agreement level of appropriateness. When considering
each of the following aspects: reputation, reward/honor, and the community acceptance, the study found that the opinions among
administrators and teachers were at a high agreement level. Schools committee members expected that students should master
learning skills and desirable characteristics and not to cause problems to society. Also, they expected teachers having high
competency and good characteristics. The opinions among the guardians in all aspects were at a moderate agreement level.
