Electroplating copper onto a nickel

Determining the amount of copper plating

3. Identifying an Unknown

Artificial SweetenerIdentifying the functional groups present in each sweetener

Combusting each sweetener

Titrating the ash for sulfur to identify sulfonyl groups

Performing Infrared Spectroscopy to identify the presence of carbonyl groups

Identifying each unknown sweetener based on the presence or absence of carbonyl and sulfonyl groups
