Getting ready for Production

• Does everyone understand the storyboard?

• Who is doing what job?

• What locations are used?

• What costumes or props are needed?

• Have the actors learnt their lines?

• Has there been a rehearsal?

• Has the camera operated practiced with the camera? Can they keep it steady?

• Do they know what shots to use?

• Do they know how to make good audio?

• Does the director know exactly what they want?

• Can everyone complete the filming with out hundreds of takes?

Tips• When actors are speaking keep the camera close to them as possible for the shot.

• Avoid filming on windy days

• Avoid filming in noisy locations, [e.g. playground at lunchtime, near roads etc].
