About Goals After School About

My name is Holly Johnson

and I am a senior at Box Elder

High School. I have 4 broth-

ers and 4 sisters and 4 out of

my 8 siblings also attended

Promontory School. I attend-

ed Promontory my 8th grade

year where I met a majority

of the friends I have right

now.

I plan on taking a Pharmacy

Technician program at the

Weber Applied Technology

school in Ogden. After I

achieve my certification I plan

on obtaining a job as a Phar-

macy Tech while attending

Weber state University to

earn an elementary education

certification.

I fill my after-school hours

working as a server at

Maddox Ranch House

where I interact with many

different people daily.

When I am not working, I

try to hang out with friends

and family.

Extracurricular

I did track and field after school

in the spring for my freshmen

and sophomore year then my

junior and senior year I just

spent more time going to foot-

ball, basketball, and soccer

games cheering on my school

and focusing more on school

and my grades.

Accomplishments Promontory Memory

I am happiest about passing all

my college classes I am taking

in high school. I never thought I

could do it, but I pushed myself

out of my comfort zone and it

made me more ready for my

future college classes.

One of my all-time-favorite

memories at Promontory was

the Winter Sports Intensive. It

pushed me out of my comfort

zone and made me realize that

I could do hard things that I

never tried before in the past.

Fieldwork and Expeditions

One of my favorite times

we went on fieldwork was

when we went on a camp-

ing trip out to the desert.

We stayed the night in a

cabin and then went to the

spiral jetty and the sun tun-

nels early in the morning to

see the sun rise.

Going to school at Prom-

ontory made it easier for

me to make friends. I was

more open to trying new

things and being friends

with everybody.

Promontory Tools for Success

The advice I would give the

8th graders who are leaving

Promontory this year is to

not be scared and to never

hold yourself back from do-

ing things. Try to get every

experience you can get be-

cause school ends faster than

you think
