His own people, eager to do what is good – Titus 2:14

The gifts you sent are “a fragrant offer-

ing, a sacrifice acceptable to God. And my

God will supply every need of yours accord-

ing to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus”

(Phil. 4:18-19).

Vol. 66 No. 20 May 19, 2020

Sunday morning John told us about

good work being accomplished in Honduras thanks to the grace of God through your generous giving.

Every month a fund is supplied to help local congregations assist people with dire needs. Much good has been done in numer-ous communities.

Some examples:

Timely help was provided o the family of a three-year-old boy named Angel. He has cerebral palsy. Malnourished and sick, he spent some time in the hospital early in the year. Our brethren provided his family with diapers, milk and some special food to

serve his needs.

Carmen, a woman suffering with cancer and very sick, was provided food she need for a special diet. She has since passed away, but she died in the Lord. She is pic-tured on this page upon her baptism.

Flora, living in extreme poverty, was blessed with a new metal roof.

Jessica had lived with gallstones for a long time and was getting sicker all the time. With your help she had surgery and enjoys much better health.

Some twenty kids received backpacks filled with notebooks, pencils and more for the start of the new school year.

Many people have been helped with

rice, beans and other food since the onset of problems stemming from COVID-19. Re-strictions in Honduras have been even tight-er than we have experienced, leaving many working people without any livelihood.
