The prayer ministry of our congrega-tion is a large network of ministers, staff and laity partnering together in response to specific prayer re-quests. Requests may be made by completing a prayer card located in the pew rack, calling the church of-fice or sending information to our e-mail prayer group. Information is
transmitted via e-mail and later compiled weekly for the Monday Morning Prayer Group.
If you have loved ones serving in the military, please contact the church office so they can be add-ed to this list. SSgt. Scott Welstead - Buckley Field USMC; Aurora, CO (Vickie Welstead’s grandson)

———Thank You Notes——— Woodway FUMC,
Thank you for everything. From your calls, visits and cards to the love you extended to our family; you have blessed my family. You anticipat-ed our needs and exceeded them. The love extended during the funeral and at the meal was more than I ever expected. For everything you’ve done...for being the special people that you are...thank you so very much.

Dear Church Family,
On behalf of Jack, Grady, Gracie and myself, we want to say a very special Thank You for all the support and prayers during Jack’s Kidney Cancer diagnosis, surgery, and recovery. We are so beyond blessed to have those who shared their love by volunteering to bring our family delicious meals from the meal train. We can’t wait to grow our faith with the entire WFUMC family. I want to send a special THANK YOU to Pastor Bryan for spending the afternoon of Jacks surgery sitting by my side. Pastor Bryan, you were a rock when I needed one the most. My heart is forever thankful. God Bless, and sending all our love..

Dear Woodway FUMC,
I, my daughter and son would like to express our sincere thanks to the people that came to my aid when I fell at Church last Sunday. I am not sure who all helped, you know who you are, and we thank you. Special thanks to Debbie Young and her husband for taking me to Express Care and to my dear long time friends Kathy, Jim and Donnie Naylor, who took me to providence ER after Express Care said they couldn’t treat me and for staying with me until my family could arrive from Dallas. Again, thank all so very much, I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

E-prayer is the way we get prayer requests to the church membership quickly. It also ensures that the request is sent to everyone with the same correct infor-mation. There are over 140 members on the e-prayer list. We ask that those on the list remember that all prayer requests are confidential unless otherwise stated. If you are interested in being on the e-prayer please call the office at 751-0411. If you have a prayer request send it to Sue.Herring@baylor.edu or ruthsmith.feb@gmail.com.

Light in the Gap is a ministry to women be-
ing released from prison. Women are met at the bus station and given a bag of supplies to help them on their way. The bag contains: water, snacks, cookies, comb, hand cream, information containing state contacts in case of emergency. We help with these supplies. The women are also asked for prayer requests and those are what we send out to our e-prayer group. We are doing this in conjunction to Woodway Baptist which is doing most of the work.
