TRINITY 4-H CLUB &RIVER CROSSING COWBOY CHURCH CLUB DECEMBER EVENTS
Trinity Episcopal 4H & RCCC 4H Club’s officers met on November 2 at CCs Pizza for a planningworkshop. The decision was made by the officers of each club, along with the club managers,to join forces with the idea of being able to accomplish more as a larger group. The meetingtime was set for the 2nd Sunday of each month at 4:00 pm at Trinity Episcopal 4H room.
Community service project ideas were discussed. The decision was made to sponsor aChristmas Store in the activity room of Marshall Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, December10th. The members worked hard making and gathering various gifts to make available to theresidents to choose gifts to share with their loved ones. The event was a huge success with 234H members and family present. The Nursing home staff estimated 35-40 residents benefitedfrom this project.
The next community service project discussed was to help out at the Marshall Animal Shelter. We will be making final plans and preparation soon to execute this project.
Members from both clubs assisted with a workshop on Saturday November 4, at the Extensionoffice, designed to help prepare them for the upcoming Food Extravaganza Competition onJanuary 6, 2018.
