Apartment Condominium Thang Long Number One, the core element of the Thang
Long Number One project invested by Viglacera Corporation, includes two 40-storey
towers. The entire project, with two commercial buildings and three apartment buil-
dings, covers a total land area of 40,000 m2. It has been designed under the “green
building” and “smart living” concept, casting a higher level of the building standard
in Hanoi. The two commercial 40-storey buildings, Tower A and Tower B, feature a
floor area of nearly 200,000 m2 and a total investment of more than $ 200 million.
Energy-efficient pumping solutions and our broad product portfolio enabled us to
stand out from our competitors. Our all-in solutions based on advanced technologies
help our customer to meet the diverse challenges encountered in the project’s water
transfer, waste water transfer and automation applications.
Under the “green building” and “smart living” concept for Apartment Condominium
Thang Long Number One, our customer required pumps with minimum noise and
top efficiency levels while at the same time occupying little space and producing
little vibration.

To meet the above requirements, our
local KSB team in Vietnam worked out
a solution and offered KSB Movitec and
Multitec pumps as water transfer pumps.
Both are vertical multistage pumps
fulfilling the requirement of occupying
a very small footprint while at the same
time providing the pressure needed.
For waste water transfer, we offered
Amarex NF pumps to ensure little
clogging and reliable per formance.
The free-flow impellers of Amarex
pumps have been especially designed for
coarse sludge. The pumps’ performance
is monitored by several sensors to have
all conditions under control.
Automation equipment and energy
savings were two other requirements
that our customer placed on KSB, so
we offered an automation solution com-
prising pressure booster systems. These

multi stage in-line pumps with advanced
controllers and inverters. The booster
systems come with a compact design
along with low vibration and low noise
levels, as required by the customer. At
the same time, KSB’s energy-efficient
pumps used in the systems make for low
energy consumption and require little
maintenance, thus saving the customer
life cycle costs.
