Grand Vajrakilaya Phurpas

Our Centre embraced Vajrayana Buddhism of the Sakya Tradition 35 years ago. Through the guidance and

leadership of our Spiritual Patron His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin, not only have we grown spiritually in the

dharma path of Vajrayana, we have also grown from a small rented premise at Maple Ave to the current scale at

Pasir Ris. Our members, the local community and visitors from afar have benefited greatly, not only through the

spiritual guidance of His Holiness, but also achieved greater stability and fulfilment in our daily life. This is

possible through the advices and continuous blessings of His Holiness, as well as the members of the Sakya

Sangha, who relentlessly help with our worldly challenges through these years.

There are two ways you can adopt these exquisite blessed Phurpas, as:

1. The Grand Vajrakilaya Sponsors

A. Phurpa VAJRAKILAYA (30inch) with special consecration item inserted at $18,000 per phurpa

B. Phurpa WRATHFUL ONES (17inch) with consecration items inserted at $6,300 per phurpa

• Both these types of Phurpas will be built to order and specially made in India. They will be

consecrated by the Grand Ritual Master of each year's Vajrakilaya Drupchod and be presented

to the Sponsors in the 2013 Vajrakilaya Event

With these blessed Phurpas, we hope to enhance the benefit of the

Vajrayana method to more people, especially those who have strong

propensities and karmic link to the deity Vajrakilaya.

His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin is a direct

descendant of the Khon lineage. Following

the practice of the Khon Family, we have

adopted the Vajrakilaya Puja as our Centre

main ritual three years ago. The Khon

Family, His Holiness and His Noble Sons,

have performed this Puja without break for

more than 1,200 years since the time of

Guru Rinpoche. As such, the continuous

stream of blessings accumulated through

this ritual is unfathomable. In conjunction

with this visit of His Holiness, we have

requested for His Holiness to grace this

Major Event of Sakya Tenphel Ling, and

commemorate the occasion by making

available the blessed Vajrakilaya Phurpa for

adoption. These are not ordinary Phurpa

but Phurpa of magnificent value and size

which are invoked with the authentic

sacred blessings of the Khon lineage, each

consecrated with special, precious elements.
