The Government of Jamaica through the Sugar Transformation Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries will be undertaking a farm road rehabilitation project aimed at providing improved access for the “farms to markets”, transportation of farm produce, while also catering for the workers, residents and schools in the surrounding communities. The Sugar Transformation Unit/Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries now invites Tender from eligible and qualified Contractors for the proposed,“FarmRoadsRehabilitationProject”intheparishesofSt.James&Westmoreland.

ScopeofWork: The works comprises site clearance, earthworks, construction of road pavement, earth retaining structures, storm water drainage systems, others.Eligibility: All Contractors must be registered with the National Contracts Commission (NCC) at the time of tender opening in the category of “GeneralRoadWorks’’Grade1, andmusthaveavalidTaxComplianceCertificate(TCC).
