A NEW QUESTION

The global challenges facing our world are immense and complex, and progress is not being made fast enough

CHALLENGE

Each person has a ‘light’ within and the power to drive change for the better

OPPORTUNITY

How do we get more people to volunteer?

How do we create a society where it is easy for people to act on their own agency to create positive change?

THE OLD QUESTION A NEW QUESTION

A NEW QUESTION FOR NONPROFIT LEADERS

TRADITIONAL METHODS OF ENGAGEMENT

REMAIN IMPORTANT, BUT AS PEOPLE STRIVE TO LIVE INTEGRATED LIVES THAT REFLECTS THEIR VALUES,

NEW CATEGORIES BECOME ESSENTIAL TO A

CIVIC LIFE

1.Look for ways to reach and engage more volunteers in your work.

2.Identify the main challenges you are trying to solve and engage volunteers to

crowdsource solutions.

3.Look for where you have gaps in your skills, insights or expertise and find partners

with deep talent to help fill them.

In the 21st century, the world will be transformed by the accelerating power of people, and citizens will unite to be a dominant force for good.

Thank You
